Residents who require electricity to operate medical equipment were left to cope without power for up to three days as crews worked to get service back on to thousands in the area after Monday morning's wind storm.
Quincy resident Bob Werneth had to switch his wife, Mary Lee, to oxygen cylinders after their home lost power, which disabled her oxygen concentrator.
