Specialized Airtool Shock Frame pump review

As it stands, the Airtool is frustrating enough in high-volume mode that we still made sure to leave the house with a CO 2 cartridge and inflator, thus negating the weight savings. Even so, the Airtool is a decent option as an all-in-one backup or for

SKS Airchamp Pro Co2 pump

27.06.11

SKS Airchamp Pro refreshes the parts other CO2 inflators cannot reach - or at least mine did when a cartridge accidentally engaged in the pocket of my shorts! That aside, it wins over similar inflators thanks to an ergonomic body and a clever thumb switch that allows controlled pressure release without jettisoning all the compressed gas in one hit. At £2.50 a cartridge, it best suits competitive riders who puncture infrequently. That said as commenters here have noticed, shop around and you can get threadless CO2 cartridges for a lot less than that.

Tire Inflator - Honda Rincon Forum : RinconRiders Honda Rincon Forums

by bigduke

LG, I have used lighter fluid on a flat where the bead has come off the rim , with a match, a super quick inflate from the building of gasses inside the tirea causes the flat with the bead off the rim to "burst back on". The small explosion super inflates the tire causing the bead to seat, then let out some air and away ya go. Exhaust pressure I am sure is way safer, and no burnt wiskers if you get too close!
