Life in the Parks: Learn How to Snorkel

27.06.11

Light rain Sunday morning did not take Debbie Braun or Sue Meyer inside. But it probably does not matter because they were about to spend the next hour and a half immersed in a pool to learn to dive.

Labruyère Thomas, director of Y-Kiki Divers, and another instructor were on hand to teach the class, which was held at the Kennedy Recreation Complex. Labruyere well could be a tuba-pro, Braun and Meyer did not exactly take to it like a duck to water.

The two women had tried unsuccessfully to Florissant to master the sport of snorkeling in the past.Braun last test was for a vacation to Disney World, and Meyer gave up some years after an unsuccessful go on a trip to the Virgin Islands.

Cozumel, Mexico, Scuba Diving Trip III, Feb 2011 | Tropical DivingTeam

This is my 3rd vacation dive trip to Cozumel, Mexico, starting to shoot video instead of photo, all videos took with Canon Powershot SD4000 in ikelite housing, no filter, manual WB.

Cozumel is the same lovely island, only change I can easily notice is the invention of lionfish! Didn’t see any last trip two years ago, saw at least 5 this trip.
